In many drug cases, the police may not follow proper procedure and therefore may lack probable cause. I have reviewed hundreds of search warrants and will investigate and challenge the procedures used during your arrest and any searches to determine whether the police violated your constitutional rights.
Treatment options vary greatly from case to case. It is extremely important to have an attorney who knows diversion options and favorable probation options for narcotics cases. Some programs include community service, drug or alcohol treatment or even case deferment. After a conviction or plea, a good attorney may be able to convince the Judge to put a client into programs that allow for a dismissal of charges with successful completion of probation.
